Yomi would wake up that morning, sit up, stretch out, and yawn. She would put her glasses on, then get out of bed, and get dressed. As she headed downstairs, she spotted a note on the table. It was written by someone with very good looking handwriting, along with a signature in crayon that was obviously Koyomikos. Yomi began to read: Dear Tomo and Yomi, Dont panic. Koyomiko is with me, along with Arata, and the other Azu-kids, doing something special for Mothers Day. Joe Sakaki (Koyomiko) Yomi smiled. Well, at least now she knew where Koyomiko was. In fact, Sakaki, Kagura, Kaorin, and Osaka all got the same letter, which gave them all a smile and something to look forward to the next day. Meanwhile, Shaun sat in the living room, watching TV while Chiyo helped Joe and Arata bake cakes for the mothers. Joe couldnt bake anything past breakfast to save his life, and Arata well, he was Arata. But at least they could help out in the kitchen, grabbing supplies and whatnot. As for the kids, they all sat at the table, making cards. Koyomiko was using different colored crayons for each sentence she could manage to spell in kanji. Nekosa was also managing, though her signature was a drawn cat paw print. Pan was having problems, as she had learned how to speak Japanese, but hadnt really learned how to write kanji. Luckily, Koharu could help out, as the two of them had to do one for Kagura. Finally, the cakes came out. Ok, now Joe ran back into the kitchen, and grabbed a tube with filling. He ran back out, and on Sakakis cake, he spelled out his own name in English, making sure to leave enough space for Nekosa. The tube then went around to each of the kids, as well as Arata. Everyone got to spell their names on their respective mothers cakes in English, then Joe and Arata signed their names in Kanji on the cards the kids had made. And everything was set. They left the cakes in the care of Chiyo, thanked her, and went back home. They would be back early morning to pick up the cakes. For each person also had their own plans for each mother, as well. The next morning Sakaki would be the first to awaken, as she felt someone pounce on top of her. As she looked upwards, her face turned to a slight horror. Sitting there, with a dead rat hanging in her mouth by the tail, was Nekosa, beaming proudly. A sudden burst of laughter was heard alerting to Sakaki that something was up. And once she looked closer, she noticed that the rat was a fake. Joe came walking in, still trying to recover from his laughing fit. Im sorry, Sakaki, but that look on your face priceless. Joe said, trying to contain his laughter. Nekosa dropped the fake rat on the bed. Happy Mothers Day, Okaasan!! Sakaki gave a smile to the sweet child. Thank you, Nekosa. Nekosa went up to her mother, and began to rub her head against Sakakis like a cat, and began purring. The blush on Sakakis face was a dark shade of red Kagura would wake up that morning to a sign on her door, scribbled rather messily, saying Please stay in bed. Kagura shrugged, and poked a bit at Kaorin. uhhhhhhh . Kaorin rolled over. What? Theres a big sign on our door that says to stay in bed. Kagura said. At that moment, the door opened, and Kagura sat up. Koharu came in, very delicately balancing two trays, one in each hand. Happy Mothers Day! Koharu said as she walked in very slowly. Sorry Pan couldnt be here, Natsuko-mama, but she had to run over to Osaka-sempais house. Koharu walked over, and set Kaorins plate down in front of her. She then walked more easily over to Kaguras side, and set the tray down on her side. Wow, Koharu!! What a wonderful looking breakfast! Kaorin gasped. Kagura and Kaorin said Itadakimasu! and began to eat. Koharu was beaming proudly. Osaka opened her eyes, and sat up. She got out of bed, ran to the bathroom, and threw up. Mah god As Osaka began walking out of the bathroom, she saw Pan standing there. U-um Happy Mothers Day, Ayu-mama. Pan held up a book. The books title read The Paranormal, Occult, and Superstitions, 2008 edition. Oh, Pan! Osakas eyes lit up. She and Arata hadnt gotten the book, for the two of them needed to save up for the baby. Y-You like it? Pan asked. Osaka bent down and hugged Pan tightly. Ah love it. Pan felt so happy in that moment. Tomo would be the first to awaken that morning. She wondered if her breasts would ever stop feeling sore. She got up, and got dressed. As she walked downstairs, however, she noticed Koyomiko sitting there at the table, drawing something. As she hit the first step, Koyomiko turned around. Agh!! Mama!!! Go back upstairs!!! Koyomiko yelled. But I just got up Upstairs!!! Koyomiko yelled. So Tomo walked herself back upstairs, and back into the room. At that moment, Yomi had put her glasses on to get up. Um morning? Yomi said, unsure of why Tomo was walking back into the room. Koyomiko shunned me back up here I dont know why. Tomo said. Tomo moved herself, and sat down next to Yomi. Well, you think maybe she was preparing something for Mothers Day? That is today, after all Yomi said. At that moment, they could hear Koyomikos footsteps coming up. Koyomiko came walking into the room, holding a piece of paper. Happy Mothers Day, Mama and Kaa-san!! Koyomiko beamed proudly as she showed Tomo and Yomi her hand-drawn picture. Oh, wow!! Thank you, Koyomiko!! Tomo said, taking the picture from her daughter and looking at it. Though it looked like the typical picture drawn by a 4 year old, Tomo could still tell which one was her, and which one was Yomi, just by the hair color for which Koyomiko had used. Do you like it? Koyomiko asked. Like it? No! Tomo said. I love it!! Koyomikos face beamed, and she happily hugged Tomo. Tomo hugged her back, and when Koyomiko was done, she pulled back, and then went over, and hugged Yomi. Well, as we can all guess, the three families went over to Chiyos place, where each person got their own cakes (Yomis was fat-reduced, as prepared by Chiyo), and Mothers Day was one that none of the girls would ever forget. But now we join the mothers at the end of the day, as they all go home. Kagura and Kaorin would fully enjoy their day, and Koharu would go to bed filled with a new determination and pride for what she had done for her mothers. Osaka, Arata, and Pan all went home and got under the Kotatsu at home. Pan had never felt such warmth before. Joe and Sakaki would go home, and where Joe would give Sakaki a massage that she hadnt gotten in a long, long time. The Iriomotes and Nekosa all sat outside, watching TV. Oh! Happy Mothers Day, Yama! Nekosa said, petting the mother Iriomote. She let off a mew, then curled up to fall asleep. Tomo, Yomi, and Koyomiko all went home, and spent some time together as a family watching television, something family-friendly. Then Tomo turned off the television. Well, I suppose, its time to go to bed. Tomo said, looking at the clock. Mama, Kaa-san Koyomiko said. Can I sleep with you tonight, as part of Mothers Day? Well, sure! If you are ready for bed before me and your Kaa-san are, then well let you! Tomo said. Ready, set, go!! Tomo ran upstairs, while Koyomiko zoomed to her room. My god I might go crazy with these two Yomi said. She then calmly got up, and headed for the stairs. As she reached her room, she noticed that Tomo was already dressed for bed. Cmon, Yomi, ya gotta darn. Yomi looked to her side to see Koyomiko already dressed in her pajamas. Darn guess you get to sleep with us. Yomi said with a smile, though her voice said she wasnt the least bit disappointed. Koyomiko just gave a big wildcat grin. So, Yomi also got ready, and the three of them got into bed, and turned out the light. mmmm so warm Koyomiko said from inbetween Tomo and Yomi. Yeah Tomo said. Oh, and youll have to mind there not being much room, your Kaa-sans fat takes up a lot of space. THWACK!!! And thats to tell you Im still awake. Yomi growled. Ow Tomo moaned. |

That was my gift for my mom. She actually had her day off yesterday, so she was actually doing chores in the morning...but she's napping right now. I told her to relax.
In the end, a simple hug is the way to go.
Happy Day of Maternal Parent Awareness!
Happy Mother's Day to all the female procreators~
